We have a whole line-up of Bosch tools with a large Variety of Battery's, so we never run into Problems with loss of Battery power there is always a back-up and that would be the key to owing cordless Vacs. | Super powerful,long lasting and light battery vacuum! A must have for any trades. | I had a project recently where I had to cut out a large area of drywall with my oscillating tool. It was in a very nice home so I purchased the GAS18V Wet/Dry Vacuum to have up on the ladder with me. I had a shoulder strap that clipped onto the vacuum's eyelets. (my vac didn't come with a shoulder strap). With the vac suspended from my shoulder, I was able to make my cuts while holding the vac's nozzle close to my work, preventing most of the dust from becoming airborne. Thanks | The vacuum performs well. Plenty of power and relatively quiet. What's disappointing is it doesn't work with any other attachments and it doesn't come with a brush attachment. A search for accessories for the vacuum does not show an available brush or adapter. Reading reviews,... Bosch's response on this issue suggests an adapter is available, but reading the reviews about the adapter say it doesn't fit. I have Bosh cordless tools. I have cordless tools from competitors. I already have multiple charging platforms so I could have easily went with another brand. I have four corded vacuums for various tasks and locations. I have a wall mounted vacuum. I have a typical upright vacuum for the house. 6 different vacuums from various manufacturers. They all use the same attachments. I bought this unit for the house because I already had the charger and several batteries, plus I bought a larger battery. Since it is for the house aesthetics was a consideration. I thought the Bosch looked nicer than available options from competitors. I have no complaints about performance or quality, but Bosch really missed the mark on this one issue. | Nice vacuum. I own several bosch tools so I already had batteries and chargers. I think they're solid products. I own four other shop vacuums for various task specific reasons. I bought this one for my wife to use around the house since I already had chargers. Compared to other brands, I thought it just had better aesthetics so it wouldn't look out of place using it around the home so I bought this mainly based on aesthetics. I have other pro grade tools and charging platforms so I could have very well went a different direction. It's powerful and relatively quiet. No complaints on performance. I have one major complaint. Had I known ahead of purchasing I simply wouldn't have purchased and probably would have bought the ugly red box from another manufacturer. My complaint, none of the other universal attachments fit. The brushes, crevice tools, extensions, adapters, etc... All are compatible across other brands, but incompatible with this vacuum. There is no brush attachment to purchase in the accessory options and I haven't managed to locate an adapter. I'd give 5 stars but for this one thing. |
