| Reviews | Just bought this and very impressed with build quality and accuracy for a compact job-sit saw. | Initial Review is a 4 out of the box but a 5 overall after tech aid on warranty which led me to see Dewalt though 3 years has very bad reviews on paying it's service folk sand then owners being sent to them and they no longer service the product. That was the nail in the coffin to buy Bosch vs Dewalt. I have not used Saw yet but compared to my Ridgid R4513 which died the FENCE and other components are very nice and seeing Ridgid Still uses a fence one has to line up front and back WHY BOTHER. Bosch please not page 33 of your adjustments as I believe you have flaws on the Right Black Pin Index alignment. Your stating putting wrench 80 over index 56 after your done with the silver index alignment index 57. So I believe you meant to state put wrench 80 hole over index 57 then align index hole 58 and tighten and KABOOM, your golden. Please verify this and update the manual online at least for others to aid as it also states the same in the PDF. Will give a review after use as a tad of alignment needed but out of the box, NOT BAD at all, frankly considering shipping and moving etc and a tie strap found broke on the motor so it was free upon opening box. So not sure why that thick strap was broke, age maybe as box was dusty from Lowes. | Most of the features on this saw have been great. The one really big problem I have had is the blade adjustment for Parallel to the fence have really nasty bolts that require and allan key to loosen or tighten. One of the bolts was so tight it could not be moved | Best table saw I've purchased. Smooth cuts and I love the over sized kill switch. Easy to shut off with your knee if your hands are occupied. | IMO, I've stepped up to the Cadillac of jobsite saws. While making Christmas gifts in '24, my 3 year-old Ridgid, 1st ever TS, failed. I agonized for several days over the replacement. The Bosch GTS15-10 won due to availability and an awesome You-Tube video from Projects for All. The factory calibration was spot on, but my throat plate was not dead flat, so I contacted Bosch and within 2 days had a perfect one. The table is so much larger, the fence stays perfectly square with the rack and pinion system, the motor is soft start, strong and quiet, the blade brakes within 3 seconds on shut-off, and most importantly, the blade raises and lowers so much easier than the 2-handed Ridgid. The factory blade even cut very cleanly. I didn't think I was going to use the mobile stand, as I had made a rolling cart for the Ridgid, but I did put it together, and it is fantastic. The wheels look smallish in all the photos, but they are larger in real life and handle up and down my shed steps with ease. The 1st time I turned this saw on, raised the blade, and ripped a piece of 8/4 hard maple ... I was amazed. Grat smooth cut. It was easily 2 1/2 times the price of the Ridgid, but 10 times the machine. Sooo thrilled with this saw! | Bought the saw to replace a 12 year old ridgid unit. Talk about an upgrade. Fanatastic tool, easy to operate. Only drawback is that the stand allows you to go forward but the wheels rub on the frame when backing up which makes it difficult to move. | This is the 5th table saw since 1994. I’m a retired airline captain and, before that US Navy, before that I grew up in a family of builders. I care a great deal about quality. Today, for the past 12 years I’ve been building luxury custom homes. I have two trim carpenters who use the Dewalt 10” table saw. I’ve owned a Craftsman Contractor saw made in the 1970’s. Was a very good very big saw with no dust collection. Then I purchased a Ridgid table saw.. it was very good except I just couldn’t get it quite squared up. Then I owned a Dewalt 10” and then sold and purchased a Milwaukee M-18 which died a few weeks ago. _x000D_

This time I spent a few days looking at different saws, watching YouTube videos and talking to friends in the construction carpentry trades. In the end I chose this saw for its good reviews and the price/value I felt it had to offer. _x000D_
_x000D_
I own thousands in Festool tools but just couldn’t justify the. $2000 price for the Festool and I really did like the SawStop contractor saw but at $1599.. it wasn’t an option. _x000D_
_x000D_
It came down to three saws in my opinion: Dewalt, Skilsaw and Bosch. In the end there was a Dewalt in stock and a Bosch in stock. I would have had to wait 5 days for the Skilsaw. The local Maynard's had the Bosch on sale and with the rebate the Bosch was $200 less than the Dewalt at Lowe’s. _x000D_
_x000D_
Truthfully, had the Bosch been the same price as the Dewalt, I would have gone with the Bosch. This saw is really very very good. The gravity stand is outstanding and the fit finish build quality it is clear Bosch wanted this saw to be very competitive with the Dewalt peer. _x000D_
_x000D_
So far, out of the box saw cuts straight. The power is very good also. I’ve not run a dado set yet but it ripped through bunch of wet pressure treated 2x with no problems at all. _x000D_
_x000D_
What would I change? If Bosch came to me and asked. I tell them to go one step further and look at the fine details of the saws especially the parts that we touch to adjust and use regularly. Use very high quality parts that feel substantial, use machined vs stamped or gears. Use sealed bearings where applicable and innovate so that your saw is the clear choice in saws. _x000D_

Now, knowing this saw could be better doesn’t place it any lower in order of best to worst. I feel for the price, this is the best saw in its class. | Once set up, this is a very nice Jobsite/portable saw. I was torn between four stars and five due to quality control issues. _x000D_
First issue, the flip over fence would not lower into place because the L bracket that attaches it was bent. There were no obvious reasons or damage to the box so I assume it was assembled like that._x000D_
Second issue, the 90 degree positive stop was not assemble in the correct position. The screw would need to be a half inch longer to set the 90 stop. There is one screw securing this stop and one alignment hole or detent. My stop was rotated out of that hole. In order to reposition the stop, the front plastic cover must be loosened and reposition to get to the screw. Both items were simple fixes but this saw should have never left the factory like that. _x000D_
Now that everything is zeroed and aligned, I think that I will be very happy with this saw._x000D_
Sidenote, this is my second portable saw, downsizing from an SCM Minimax SC3. My first portable saw was the Ridgid 4516, the small 10". I cannot stand the Ridgid saw. There is a bigger quality difference between the Ridgid and Bosch than there is between the Bosch and Minimax. With the Ridgid at $299, the Bosch at $649 and Minimax at $9000 plus a huge shipping fee! We are talking a Jobsite saw vs. a professional sliding table saw designed for cabinet making. The Bosch GTS15-10 should be a winner! | I purchased the Bosch GTS15-10 Jobsite Table Saw with Gravity Stand from Lowe's on 12/18/2024. For several days prior, I couldn't decide whether to buy the Bosch GTS15-10 or the Dewalt DWE7491RS. I always felt that Bosch made a better saw than Dewalt, but on paper the Dewalt looked a little better- 1,000 RPM faster, larger table, over-the-blade dust hood, and on sale for $150 cheaper. I decided to go see both saws in person to make my decision. _x000D_
_x000D_
After looking at both saws and carefully comparing them, I definitely felt that Bosch made the nicer saw. Their components had better machining, fit, design, and sturdiness. _x000D_
_x000D_
Even though the Dewalt motor spins 1,000 RPM faster, I rationalized that the Bosch motor probably had more torque and consistent power through the cut. At a certain point, RPM doesn't matter if the motor can't maintain it. Even a 1/4 HP motor can spin at 5,000 RPM, but the quality of the cut would be horrible. So I decided to buy the Bosch._x000D_
_x000D_
When I got home, I assembled the Gravity Stand and found it to be a simple task. I found the saw was not aligned from the factory, so I spent some time calibrating the blade, fence, and riving knife. I replaced the factory blade with a new Diablo 30T glue line rip blade with full kerf. Then I was ready to make my first cut on the new saw._x000D_
_x000D_
I wanted to cut some 12/4 walnut first to see how the saw would handle something heavy duty. The Bosch absolutely chewed right through it without any hesitation or bogging, and it felt like I was cutting 1/2" poplar instead of 12/4 walnut. In spots that would have overwhelmed my old saw, the Bosch seemed to increase output to keep the blade speed consistent. It was really superb. The power felt similar to a 3-phase 5 HP professional cabinet saw. It was really that smooth._x000D_
_x000D_
Overall, I feel that the Bosch GTS15-10 is a great product and arguably the best jobsite table saw on the market. I am very impressed with the quality of design, function, features, manufacturing, motor, and cutting. I would definitely recommend the saw to anyone._x000D_
_x000D_
I have also been wanting to buy the Bosch GCM12SD miter saw for over a year, and after seeing how great the Bosch GTS15-10 is, now I want to get it even more so I can replace my junky Ridgid. I can't afford it right now, but hopefully I can in the near future! | The saw was easy to set up, didn't take too long. The stand with wheels is an added bonus. I set up the saw, added the blade and fired her up. Worked great. I am using it to build a shed and do a small house remodel, so it was mostly used on 2x4's and 2x6 lumber. Its easy to close down to store it away when not in use. Im a home Diy'er that has used many saws but this one worked great. Id recommend the jobsite travel saw. I've used it on a few construction jobs I had since I got it. also used on vinyl siding pieces. | This tablesaw is very impressive. I love how light it is to move around. I like the ease of folding and unfolding. The table is big enough for basic projects. This was very easy to put together. I like the mechanics of everything. It all glides together and roluns very smooth. I only gave it 4 stars because it does feel very cheaply made. It feels so light that it makes it seem cheaply made. Althought the lightness of it is a bonus. I also do like my tablesaw to feel sturdy and strong. | I have GTS15-10 10” Job Site Table Saw w/ Gravity-Rise Wheel stand. Let me start off first by saying that it was a total pain to put together. I have only used it once so far and it worked great. It looks to be extremely well built, and the safety features are easily accessible and only took me about 10 to 15 minutes to attach. I do love the fact that it folds up for storage doesn’t take up so much room. I love the fact that they sold us isn’t trapped in one spot. The fence and meter gauge are great.p | First of all I’m blow away by this saw, such an amazing tool.It has all the bells and whistles. One of many great benefits this saw has, is that every thing has its place on the saw. Extremely Portable!! I especially like how you can adjust everything to make sure you always have a straight cut and of how fast I can pack it up and move on to a other work site !! . Plus the built quality seem supreme!! Bosch doesn’t disappoint! | Setup took about 30 minutes. Saw is ready to go but the stand needs assembly. The stand rises and fold down with little effort. All the parts store securely right on the saw, so no need to worry about forgetting parts when transporting. Tested using mult sheets of plywood stand was very stable and fence provided a square surface to cut against. Wheels on stand are large and feel heavy duty can make it through most any terrain. |
