| Reviews | I bought this 6 months ago to replace a 2" 110v angle grinder that got quite hot even with light use and died after only a little light usage. I was familiar at with the Bosch 12volt line as I have a drill and several drivers that have been very reliable. I was surprised with the amount of power this grinder has even at lower speeds. It runs smoothly and cool and seems pretty thrifty with battery usage even with an aggressive 2" carbide carving disc. Fits many places the bigger tools won't. So far this thing is worth every penny. | Only limited use so far - but extremely impressed with the torque and compact design to get into the tough spots no other tool can reach. I just ordered the 5/16" optional collet from the Bosch Service Center and will use that with my longer shank 5/16" carbide burrs. It's nice to have that option, as the larger shank runs with less vibration and chance of bending. _x000D_

This thing handles 2" aggressive cutting/sanding disks like nothing along with my single cut soft metals burrs - they usually want to stall the air powered die grinders but this thing, even at lower speeds has no issue with it. I have bigger electric die grinders, both a single speed 18v Bosch as well as the heavier duty Metabo 710Plus. This little one can't compare to those, but it can easily get into places the larger ones cannot. Hopefully this tool will last as long with heavy use as my other 12v lighter tools - very impressed with the entire platform both in quality and durability. |
