| Marketing Copy | Bosch Speed Xtreme™ SDS-max® bits deliver 100% carbide heads with four-cutter design, making them the toughest, long-lasting bits for drilling in reinforced concrete and hard aggregate. The bits provide 5X life vs. competition. The bits are engineered using proprietary diffusion-bonding technology, which bonds carbide and steel at a molecular level. It’s a precise high-heat, high-pressure solid-state welding process that produces jobsite-proven bits. Bosch is the only concrete bit manufacturer to make its own carbide, and 100% quality check on each and every single bit. The bit has a four-cutter design with 180° cutting diameter and 100% power transfer during drilling. The active-centering tip results in rounder hole, while the four 90° side angles create a wide and sharp head keep driving precise holes. The four-flute design aggressively pulls dust away from the work, for fast drilling and longer bit life. |

| Extended Marketing Copy | - Bosch SDS-max® Speed Xtreme™ Rotary Hammer Bit
- The Bosch Speed Xtreme™ Rotary Hammer Bit is the long-lasting bit in concrete with rebar, providing 5X life vs. standard SDS-max® bits. With 100% carbide head up to 1 In. diameter, these bits feature a four-cutter design, delivering 180° cutting diameter and 100% power transfer. The four-flute design aggressively pulls dust away from the work, for fast drilling and longer bit life.
- 100% carbide head
- With a 100% carbide head (and four-cutter design), each Speed Xtreme™ rotary hammer bit is optimized for maximum performance in larger SDS-max® rotary and combination hammers. And Bosch is the only concrete bit manufacturer to make its own carbide, ensuring quality.
- Long-life technology
- Speed Xtreme™ bits provide 5X life vs. the competition, because Bosch’s proprietary diffusion-bonding technology provides a stronger carbide bond. This high-heat, high-pressure solid-state welding process bonds carbide and steel on a molecular level, making the joint extremely strong, especially when drilling in reinforced concrete.
- Four-cutter head design
- The bit is designed with a four-cutter head design (with 100% carbide), offering 180° cutting diameter and 100% power transfer during drilling. In addition, four symmetrical 90° side angles create a wider and sharper tip versus competitive bits to aggressively cut through reinforced concrete, even in deep applications.
- Accurate, fast anchoring
- The active-centering tip on the Speed Xtreme™ bit is designed for accurate starts, and it guides the bit through concrete, an important feature when setting anchors or fasteners. A new four-flute design aggressively pull dust away from the work, keeping the tip cooler for longer bit life.

| Reviews | This 7/8 drill bit is long and big. Drills a big hole and will drill through perfectly. It’s not heavy and it’s lightweight. Holds up to the job and want break easily. Just install in drill and do what is needed. | Definitely sharp right out of the packaging, perfect performance no issues, great quality and built to last, good purchase to have . Definitely recommend. Does the job needed no issues, no issues with it | 7/8 In. SDS-max® Rotary Hammer Bit is really great! This drill bit can drill through most things with ease. But I prefer to use it with concrete. It doesn’t split the concrete while I’m use. It is a very sturdy, strong, and durable bit. I would say it’s almost indestructible this will definitely last a long time. I would highly recommend! |
