| Reviews | After having major issues with other Palm sanders, I researched and chose this Bosch ROS20VSK. I am a novice woodworker trying to start my own business and this sander is awesome. I love the variable speed, it is super quiet, and the dust collector is great. I have only had it for one day and am super happy with it thus far. Thanks for making such great tools!!! | We bought ten of these sanders about 5 years ago. The work great! The one exception is that the dust collector box becomes loose and won't stay on or gets loose on the output opening of the sander and then dust escapes into the surrounding area. New "O" rings did not fix the problem. Had to buy several new filter boxes to fix the problem. | In the last 6+ years, thousands of sanding disc, ~9 backing pad replacments, 3 filters, hundreds of hours sanding in hard conditions and this wonderful sander just kept going and going! I have many hobbies that this sander has been key to my success, from building and repair sailboats, to welding and building trailers, to making Furniture, onto home construction to automotive body work. This sander been there done it! I have abused this sander more then any tool I have, extreme heat, high Humidity salt environment, wet sanding, dusty dirty, high abrasive particals! I would 100% Recommend! That's not to say it's perfect, the filter is the weak point, had 3 of the 4 filters break the first two years, mainly because I was hard on them, but it would have been nice to be able to replace just the filter and or one peice of the filter then the whole assembly if you crack or break a part, also the rubber o ring kept breaking.. but even with that I'm sitting here ordering a new sander as mine finally gave up the ghost and that's more my fault because I was using in a way it was never suppose to be used.. wet sanding again! | I bought this sander several years ago and I am fairly happy with it. The only problem I have experienced is that the filter unit doesn’t seat tightly to the sander. This appears to be a problem that others have noted. I rectified the problem with two windings of silver duct tape around the port extension. The filter unit sits tight with very little dust escaping into the work area.
