| Reviews | I used this cutting wheel to cut some mild cold rolled steel sheets. Also used it to cut aluminum strips. I like the larger size over the standard 4”. I cut steel sheets for a wall fascade and it worked well and lasted a long time. Definitely will buy more in the future. | I’m genuinely impressed with how it’s transformed my metalworking projects. I typically work with a mix of stainless steel and mild steel, and finding a cutting wheel that can handle both materials efficiently is always a challenge. The TCW1S500, however, has proven itself to be a reliable companion in my shop.
What immediately stood out to me was how fast this wheel cuts. I’ve used many different brands, but this one plows through metal like butter. Whether it’s thick steel tubing or sheet metal, I get clean, precise cuts with minimal effort. I didn’t expect a wheel this thin (.040 inches) to perform so well, but it surprised me by slicing through even tough stainless steel without bogging down or overheating. | This is a fantastic cutting wheel.
The extra half inch on the wheel, compared to my 4 and a 1/2 inch grinder is an improvement.
I can see myself buying a whole pack of these cutoff wheels in the future. | Bosch is my go to !
