Preparation Instructions To Prepare McCormick Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast Seasoning Mix in a Slow Cooker: Place a 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless chuck roast, trimmed, and 5 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes, in slow cooker. Mix Seasoning Mix and 1 cup water in bowl until blended. Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove roast and vegetables and place on serving platter. Stir sauce before serving. SLOW COOKER TIP: For best results, do not remove cover while cooking._x000D_To Prepare McCormick Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast Seasoning Mix in an Electric Pressure Cooker: Mix Seasoning Mix and 1 cup water in bowl until blended; set aside. Heat 1 tbsp. oil on SAUTÉ function. Place a 2 1/2 to 3 lb. boneless chuck roast, trimmed, in pot. Cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once. Add 5 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes. Pour in seasoning mixture. Close lid. Set VALVE to SEAL. Set to cook for 60 minutes on MEAT/STEW function or until meat and vegetables are tender. When done, quick-release the pressure. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released.
