Preparation Instructions To Prepare McCormick Slow Cooker Hearty Beef Stew Seasoning Mix in a Slow Cooker: Place 2 lb. beef stew meat, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes, and 5 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes, in slow cooker. Mix Seasoning Mix and 1 1/3 cups water in bowl until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables; toss to coat well. Cover. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Stir before serving. SLOW COOKER TIP: For best results, do not remove cover while cooking._x000D_To Prepare McCormick Slow Cooker Hearty Beef Stew Seasoning Mix in an Electric Pressure Cooker: Mix Seasoning Mix and 1 1/3 cups water in bowl until blended; set aside. Heat 1 tbsp. oil on SAUTÉ function. Place 2 lb. beef stew meat, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes, in pot. Stir and cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring once. Add 5 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes. Pour in seasoning mixture. Close lid. Set VALVE to SEAL. Set to cook for 30 minutes on MEAT/STEW function or until meat and vegetables are tender. When done, quick-release the pressure before opening. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released. (Check manufacturer’s manual for safe operating directions.) Makes 8 servings.
