A. Our Sunscreen Lotion is 4 hours water resistant. We recommend reapplying at least every 2 hours, or more often after swimming, sweating, exercise or towel drying.
Q. What is broad spectrum sunscreen?
A. The term Broad Spectrum is used when sunscreen provides protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
Ultraviolet A (UVA) rays are present all year round and can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin (dermis), contributing to visible skin ageing. Ultraviolet B (UVB) rays are more intense during sunny conditions and are associated with sunburn to the outer layer of the skin (epidermis).
Q. How often should I reapply?
A. Sunscreen should be applied liberally and evenly 15–20 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every 2 hours, or more often when sweating, swimming, exercising or towel drying.
As sunscreen can wear off throughout the day, in addition to reapplying, wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses, and seek shade where possible.
