The wine pays homage to the first winery, Sam Jasper Winery, established by Gaspare "Jasper" Indelicato - who planted his first vineyard on Californian soil in 1924. Gaspare's first winery has matured into what is now Delicato Family Wines, which continues to remain a family operation for the last 100 years. The Sam Jasper wine marks a next chapter in California winemaking for the Indelicato family.
