| Woocom - Description | Our 24" x 48" fiberglass basin is an essential component for a lift station. It is designed to be buried flush-to-grade. Fiberglass basins are normally used outdoors but can be used indoors. The lift station basin is commonly used to collect unwanted water.
The 24" x 48" basin comes with a solid fiberglass cover. The cover is rated for 300 pounds per square foot. Additionally, it holds up well in sunlight and the damage normally caused by UV light.
A hole saw can be used to drill holes for the inlet, discharge, and vent pipe connections. A pipe seal package is included with this basin. It includes (1) 1-1/4" seal, (1) 1-1/2" seal, (2) 2" seals, and (1) 4" pipe seal. The pipe seals prevent foul odors from escaping.
The anti-flotation device helps anchor the basin at the base. This is important feature in a high-water table. It prevents hydraulic pressure from lifting the basin out of the ground. |
