With time, honeyed beeswax, sweet lemon candy, apricot jam, and hints of fresh cake dough come through. The palate balances the spicy oak with the fruitier distillate before giving way to notes of caramelized brown sugar, toffee and hints of and marzipan. Wood spice is dominant on the long finish, giving waves of warming cinnamon and dried ginger.

Long Form Brand Story/History	Daftmill is a farm distillery. Owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, it only runs in the farm’s quiet periods; mid-summer and winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. When not distilling, Francis Cuthbert looks after the estate, growing the malting barley used to make this Lowland whisky. Distilled between January and July 2010 from clear wort, with a slow distillation regime, very high and narrow cut points we collect the lightest most delicate flavors from our barley malt.
