It is an ideal solution for high-speed back-ups of critical files, moving large files from one computer to another, and for running multiple operating systems on the same PC. The unit consists of two pieces: a bay that mounts into the PC, and a removable drawer that encases the hard drive. It also supports Ultra ATA/66, ATA/100, and ATA/133 IDE transfer rates of up to 133 MB/s. The SNT127A guarantees compatibility with your computer system and its high-quality construction offers protection for critical data - meaning you’ll never have to worry for the drive’s safety as you move it from one place to another. Additional features include: a locking mechanism that prevent the drive from being removed while operating; a handle-activated drawer release mechanism that allows the drive to be inserted or removed with minimal force; a ball-bearing cooling fan that provides air-flow over the hard drive, preventing overheating and data loss; dual LEDs indicating drive power and activity status.
