| Long Description | Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky is produced in the tradition of the classic rye whiskeys that were once the preeminent American Whiskey style, kept alive through the lean years by Heaven Hill and two other distilleries. Rye Whiskey is 1 of 5 mashbills produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. The distillation process is similar to Bourbon, but the mash must be at least 51% rye. Rittenhouse Rye contains a mash bill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley. As one of the only original historical brands that are still in existence today, Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky pays homage to the original 1930’s Rittenhouse Square product through its packaging. It proudly continues to feature a diamond pattern, reminiscent of the same diamond from several decades ago.
Bottled-in-Bond, Rittenhouse carries the distinct, spicy flavor that is long associated with the brand. Along with its Bottled-in-Bond status, the high proof makes it stand out in any classic cocktail. Rittenhouse is the Rye Whisky of choice for both mixologists and whisky aficionados alike. |
