| Long Description | Since 1935, Heaven Hill Distillery has been dedicated to crafting the highest quality Kentucky Whiskeys. This led us to start at the very beginning - the seed. Each year, our Master Distiller partners with fellow family-owned seed company Beck's Hybrids to hand-select a unique corn seed varietal that best grows in Kentucky.
As the oldest-ever whiskey in the Grain to Glass line, this bourbon was distilled in 2017 from a mash bill featuring Beck’s 6158. It entered the barrel at 125 proof and was aged for 9 years on the third, fourth, and fifth floors of Warehouse W3.

| Brand Story | The Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Series affords Heaven Hill the opportunity to highlight its commitment to family, quality, and craft. Our attention to detail in the whiskey making process, beginning with hand-selecting the right seed, working with meticulous farming partners to grow high quality grain, and expert distillation and aging, is illustrated through these one-of-a-kind offerings.
The Specialty Barrel series takes the story one step further, demonstrating the impact of another precious natural resource: the oak in which we age our distillate. Every year, these barrels are selected from different oak species, aging regimens, places of origin and other characteristics to impart varying qualities on the whiskeys. |
