XT PG28A Performance Masking Tape
A high temperature masking tape designed for clean removal from a variety of surfaces after exposure to oven temperatures up to 325ºF for 30 minutes (times and temperatures are determined by surface). Easy handling, smooth crepe paper backing with high strength and conformability to irregular surfaces; exceptional cornering. “Solvent Resistant” release coating provides exceptional adhesion to backing at both room temperature and when exposed to elevated temperatures. Performs well with gel-coatings associated with manufacture of boats, spas, etc. Also performs well in wet strip applications. Provides resistance to paint flaking and a clean, welldefined paint line. Not recommended for securing large and/or kraft aprons due to reduced adhesive weight and a flatter adhesive film condition versus PG21. Not recommended for outdoor exposure.
- Automotive, truck, bus, and marine masking. Recommended hot to warm removal, but can be removed cold.
