RG46 7 Mil High Temperature Specialty Glass Cloth Tape

Woven fiberglass pressure-sensitive tape. Can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 400ºF (204ºC) for many hours, 300ºF (148ºC) for several weeks, and 250ºF (121ºC) permanently. The thermosetting properties of the adhesive provide resistance to strong solvents (e.g. xylene, toluene). The cure rate of the adhesive is time / temperature dependant.

  • Tensile strength, dimensional stability, and consistent Thickness (mil), combined with high holding properties makes RG46 an excellent choice for splicing, especially materials having rough surfaces and/or low internal strength (e.g. textiles, roofing materials).
