The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector can be used before and after surgery and in connection with chronic arthritic conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans, ligament injuries, arthritis and other problems. It also helps dogs with stifle lameness and joint pain and creates an improved quality of life through surface support.
The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector has both an elastic and stabilising effect. For example when cruciate ligaments are injured, the dog can be fitted with a protector at the time of diagnosis. Thus the dog will not lose as much muscle, if any, before the operation, which would have been the case without a knee protector.
The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector must be pulled up along the thigh to sit well and remain in place. You can protect the penis of a male dog by running the strap through an old sock.
