Integrovaný kríž môže byť vhodný pre aplikácie, ktoré vyžaduje častú výmenu celej náhlavnej súpravy, ako napr. farmaceutická výroba alebo v situáciách, kde je menej znečistenia vonkajšej látky. Na likvidáciu je možné sústavu kríža a komponenty prívodu vzduchu rýchlo odstrániť a oddeliť na jednotlivé odpadové toky, ak sú k dispozícii príslušné zariadenia.
