Long Description Use Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ HS Blend and Finish Disc in place of wire wheels and scrapers, to reach into tight spots for a consistent blended, burr-free, paint friendly finish. Our discs aggressively tackle weld burns and refinement, light deburring and rust removal – leaving a consistent satin finish on the work piece. The Roloc quick-change attachment button securely attaches the discs an attachment and easy disc changes for greater efficiency in the workshop. The high-strength open web discs combine conformability with superior durability and the fast cut of coarse grade aluminium oxide, for a fast action and consistent finish. They are ideal for use in place of wire wheels or scrapers, for reaching into tight spots. The disc material does not affect the geometry of the part and the discs are load resistant, withstanding prolonged use. They can help to lower abrasive costs while increasing productivity. Aluminium oxide offers a long life and superior cut rate. It’s a tough, durable abrasive. In use, it continually self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, compared to traditional abrasives, such as garnet, which quickly wear down with use. It’s a good choice in grinding applications, for a fast cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. Aluminium oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. 3M™ Roloc products make fast, easy light work of disc change out between steps on portable tools. Roloc TR quick change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to easily and quickly screw onto a 3M Roloc TR Disc Pad* so that operators can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on action. 3M Roloc discs are also available with a TSM metal button.
