Our paper discs have a strong C-weight paper backing, which supports robust sanding with extra durability compared to lighter weight paper backings. Long Description 3M™ Hookit™ Paper Disc 236U is excellent for high production sanding applications as well as general purpose applications on paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic and composites – including fibreglass. Our 236U discs offer an aggressive cut and long life on a premium aluminium oxide disc with a durable edge and convenient Hookit attachment. The strong C-weight paper backing supports aggressive sanding with extra durability compared to lighter weight paper backings. An open coat construction and load-resistant coating prevent premature loading of the disc surface to maximize cut and extend abrasive life.
