It’s UL recognised and CSA accepted. Long Description For excellent adhesion to low surface energy plastics, powder paint coatings and oily metal surfaces, use 3M™ Sheet and Screen Label Materials 7908. It allows easy sheet processing and is designed to lay flat. Our label material is top coated for better ink anchorage and is thermal transfer printable, with a non-printable back liner. It’s durable, moisture and chemical resistant and delivers excellent thermal stability and high temperature performance. It’s also resistant to underhood automotive chemicals. The gloss topcoat offers excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, and the heavy adhesive coat weight is ideal for bonding to textured surfaces, low surface energy (LSE) plastics, powder coatings and painted surfaces. With a gloss white polyester facestock and an acrylic adhesive on a polycoated kraft liner, it combines cohesion and adhesion. It’s the labelstock by which all others are judged, and considered the industry standard. It’s UL recognised (File MH16411) and CSA accepted (File 99316) - see the UL and CSA listings for details. 3M™ Performance Label Stock Materials offer a wide range of products for long term durability and adhesion with automotive chemical resistance and outdoor durability. Some products are UL/CSA compliant materials that can be printed by flexographic or screen print processes, as well as thermal transfer, digital printing, inkjet, laser or dot matrix printing. Available with many facestocks such as polyester, polypropylene, vinyl, pharmaceutical papers or synthetics. Please refer to individual product datapage for specific product details.
