Long Description 3M™ Hookit™ Low Profile Finishing Disc Pad’s soft density foam provides conformability, allowing the disc to flex and giving a longer abrasive life in loading applications. Use our 11/16" soft density foam pads with a 15° blunt tapered edge, for finishing flat or contoured surfaces where dust evacuation isn’t an issue. The 5/16-24 external threads on our pads are compatible with an orbital or random orbital sander, while the Hookit hook-and-loop feature makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment easy. They also enable use and re-use of the disc for the entire abrasive life. Our Hookit disc pads feature the ‘J’ shaped hooks typically used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. The pads grip the brushed nylon loop backings of Hookit discs and provide a finer finish compared to adhesive backed discs. The Hookit system is designed for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. These disc pads can also be used with hook-and-loop discs from other manufacturers.
