Long Description Use Scotch-Brite™ 7447 PRO Roll as a good alternative to steel wool and other non-woven products such as wire brushes and sandpaper, for tough cleaning tasks and fine finishing results. Our 7447 PRO uses tightly graded abrasive particles of aluminium oxide, for a fast cut and a clean, smooth finish. The fibre coating technology cuts efficiently with a consistent scratch, to scuff, prepare or finish parts in less time. Results are consistent for the entire disc life. Use versatile 7447 PRO on a wide variety of materials such as wood, metal, plastics, ceramics, porcelain, glass, rubber, or composites, from paint preparation in the automotive industry to scuff sanding furniture or cabinetry. Our discs compare in performance to steel wool grade 1. But unlike steel wool they won’t rust after use or create fine metal splinters. Use for cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring, or for scuffing before applying paint and paint primers. They also clean upholstery and chrome. Effective in wet or dry environments, the discs can be rinsed and used repeatedly. Scotch-Brite PRO is a unique surface conditioning product with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon fibres. This fibre coating technology allows Scotch-Brite PRO abrasive products to cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch than competitive non-woven abrasive products, reducing the time and effort it takes to finish parts. Combining abrasives with the fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material is load resistant and keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the nylon fibres.
