While offering features like improved clarity compared to traditional 3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tapes, this process also helps eliminate the emission of solvents and the need for solvent recovery, as well as requiring less energy use as opposed to solvent-based coating technology. In fact, an annual purchase of 100,000 sq. m of solvent-free 3M™ Double-Coated Tissue Tape results in eliminating the use of approximately 7 tons of solvent when compared to 3M Tapes made through a typical solvent-based adhesive coating process.
