Short Product Description Maddalena Rose is the Grenache varietal, grown in our Stefano Vineyard in the renowned El Pomar AVA in Paso Robles, California. Light and bright with a pale pink hue, our Maddalena Rose shows notes of fresh strawberry, melon, and yellow peach graced with accents of scented rose. With bright acidity and a zesty attack, this is a fresh, well-balanced wine, fruity but pleasantly dry, with a nice spicy finish. Long Product Description Maddalena Rose is the Grenache varietal, grown in our Stefano Vineyard in the renowned El Pomar AVA in Paso Robles, California. Smaller amounts of Syrah and Graciano from our Maddalena and Stefano Vineyards respectively round out the Rose wine blend. Warm daytime temperatures and cool afternoon breezes create an ideal climate for red varietals in El Pomar, and the calcareous soils in our vineyards force the vines to struggle for nutrients, keeping yields typically low. We harvested the grapes for this small lot of wine over two days in mid-September.
