  • Brand StoryChampagne Nominé-Renard is a grower/producer situated in Villevenard, France—20 km southwest of Epernay. They were founded in 1962 as their own proprietary house, after growing and selling grapes for many years. The name is a combination of their two family names, Nominé and Renard and was passed down through the matriarch’s side of the family. Nominé-Renard is a fully sustainable vineyard and winery, bordering the edge of organic. They are one of the founding families of Special Club Tresors-which began out of a desire to preserve the ‘Grower Champagne’ or ‘RM’ community and show their commitment to quality and expression of terroir. Simon Nominé, the fourth generation, is the winemaker and takes incredible care of the vines and all steps of the wine-making process. Each vintage is handcrafted and reflects the house style through their different offerings.
Short Product DescriptionNomine-Renard Special Club 2019 is a rare vintage Champagne from the prestigious Club Trésors de Champagne. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, aged 60 months on lees, it offers layered citrus, red berry, and stone fruit character wrapped in creamy texture, pastry richness, and a refined mineral finish. Elegant, expressive, and crafted only in outstanding years.
Long Product DescriptionFounded in 1971, Nominé-Renard is a proud member of Club Trésors de Champagne—an elite circle of growers dedicated to crafting the region’s most exceptional wines. Produced only in the finest vintages, the Special Club 2019 brings together 50% Chardonnay from Allemant and Villevenard, 37% Pinot Noir from Broyes, and 12.5% Meunier, all from sustainably farmed, 30-year-old vineyards rooted in limestone soils. Following gentle vinification and stabilization, the wine ages 60 months on its lees, developing depth and finesse. On the palate, it marries Chardonnay’s citrus and white-fleshed fruit with the red berry and dried fruit character of Pinot Noir, rounded by Meunier’s supple charm. Subtle layers of brioche, honey, and pastry lift the creamy richness, balanced by vibrant acidity and a whisper of minerality. Refined and expressive, this cuvée is a benchmark of terroir and time, pairing beautifully with elevated dishes such as Bresse chicken in cream sauce or other fine poultry-driven cuisine.
Feature Bullet 1Only the exceptional vintages are dedicated to this Spécial Club cuvée. The freshness of the chardonnay match perfectly with the structure of the Pinot Noir for a perfect balance. Ready to enjoy from now this wine has a great potential for aging
Feature Bullet 2This has a vibrant and attractive feel with preserved-lemon and gently chalky aromas, as well as crushed flowers. The palate has a smooth, zesty feel with some sorbet-like, nectarine character and a dry, even finish
Feature Bullet 3Blend: 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay
Feature Bullet 42013 vintage awarded 93 points by James Suckling
Feature Bullet 7This cuvée will be appreciated with a fillet of sea bass fried on its skin, a sole with asparagus and slivers of lemon zest, or a duckling stew stuffed with citrus
