This plant, interspersed among the vines, enriches biodiversity and enhances the landscape's beauty. Established in 1926, the winery in the picturesque medieval village of Sérignan-du-Comtat in Vaucluse has seen winegrowers pour their soul into every bottle. The vineyards, set in the heart of the Southern Rhône, thrive on limestone soils blanketed with alluvium, benefitting from the Mediterranean's warm, dry summers. The fierce Mistral wind, though often intense, safeguards the vines from dampness and typical fungal diseases, reducing the necessity for treatments. Their cultivation approach is thoughtful and minimizes the use of systemic agents. The region's dry and windy conditions foster organic growth, with minimal intervention. The overall health of the vine is a testament to the favorable climate. The vineyard's vision leans towards an amplified commitment to safeguarding the broader environment and ecosystem, encompassing aspects like water conservation, carbon footprint, wildlife, and socio-human factors. Short Product Description Panicaut Côtes-du-Rhône Plan de Dieu is a structured red blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre grown in the stony red clay soils of Southern Rhône. Aged in cement tanks for over 10 months, this wine delivers vibrant notes of ripe stone fruit, tobacco, and spice. Silky tannins and a long finish complete the experience. Long Product Description Panicaut Côtes-du-Rhône Plan de Dieu flourishes in the sun-drenched Mediterranean climate of Southern Rhône. This red blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre is hand-harvested from vines rooted in deep red clay and pebble-rich soils. Each grape variety is vinified separately, macerated for 18–20 days, then aged 10–14 months in cement tanks. The resulting wine reveals deep purple hues and expressive notes of ripe stone fruit, tobacco leaf, and spice. Its full body, silky tannins, and persistent finish make it both enjoyable now and promising for cellaring. Tasting Notes Deep purple in color with aromas of ripe stone fruit, tobacco leaf, and subtle smoke. On the palate, it offers rich, dense layers of fruit and spice, supported by silky tannins and a long, flavorful finish.
