  • Brand StoryNamed for the roses planted to watch over the vineyards, Riva de la Rosa, or “Shore of the Rose,” pays tribute to the ingenuity of farmers and the beauty of this ancient land. These magical winegrowing regions are surrounded by the sea and blanketed in the warmth of the sun. The powerful coastal influences are evident in each vineyard, with sea breezes and mineral-rich soils providing incredible salinity to the wines. The resulting wines are crisp, refreshing and energetic, reflecting the magic of Italy in every sip.
Short Product DescriptionRiva de la Rosa Verdicchio di Matelica DOC was born in the Matelica terroir, nestled in the upper Esina Valley within the Marche region, a picturesque area between the Adriatic Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The grapes are carefully shielded from oxygen using a unique method where carbonated snow is used to shield the grapes, preserving their innate freshness. Afterward, a gentle pressing along with a thermo-regulated fermentation process are employed to ensure that only the pure, crisp flavors take center stage.
Long Product DescriptionRiva de la Rosa Verdicchio di Matelica DOC was born in the Matelica terroir, nestled in the upper Esina Valley within the Marche region, a picturesque area between the Adriatic Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vineyard is perched amongst the hills about 450 meters above sea level where the land is filled with streaming rivers and soils are rich in clay and gravel. To make their Verdicchio, the grapes are carefully shielded from oxygen using a unique method where carbonated snow is used to shield the grapes, preserving their innate freshness. Afterward, a gentle pressing along with a thermo-regulated fermentation process are employed to ensure that only the pure, crisp flavors take center stage. The Riva de La Rosa labels all draw inspiration from Matelica's past as a Roman municipality. Uncovered from historical grounds, countryside and vineyard inspired mosaics have deeply influenced the mosaic design and color scheme.
