These magical winegrowing regions are surrounded by the sea and blanketed in the warmth of the sun. The powerful coastal influences are evident in each vineyard, with sea breezes and mineral-rich soils providing incredible salinity to the wines. The resulting wines are crisp, refreshing and energetic, reflecting the magic of Italy in every sip. Short Product Description Riva de la Rosa’s Vermentino IGT, a varietal often referred to as "the wine of the sun and sea". Grown predominantly along the sun-kissed coastal vineyards of the Mediterranean, especially in Tuscany and the island of Sardinia. This complex and light-bodied white wine thrives amidst warm sunlight and refreshing sea breezes. Riva de la Rosa Vermentino IGT captures the essence of the sea with its pronounced salinity, leading to a captivating phenolic finish, making it an ideal companion for herb-infused dishes and delicate pastas. Long Product Description Riva de la Rosa’s Vermentino IGT, a varietal often referred to as "the wine of the sun and sea". Grown predominantly along the sun-kissed coastal vineyards of the Mediterranean, especially in Tuscany and the island of Sardinia. The vineyards are immersed in stony soils which allows for a great texture and a radiant freshness within the finished wine. This light-bodied white wine thrives amidst warm sunlight and refreshing sea breezes. Upon arrival to the cellar, the grapes are de-stemmed and gently crushed. The extracted juices are segmented and chilled to 8°C, setting the stage for a natural 24-hour decantation. The clear must is then transferred into stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation occurs at a temperature not exceeding 12°C. Intrinsically complex in character, Vermentino shares notable traits with Sauvignon Blanc with a hint of Riesling. Riva de la Rosa Vermentino IGT captures the essence of the sea with its pronounced salinity. On the palate, it presents as refreshingly dry with high acidity and pronounced minerality, making it the perfect companion for herb-infused dishes and delicate pasta creations.
