These magical winegrowing regions are surrounded by the sea and blanketed in the warmth of the sun. The powerful coastal influences are evident in each vineyard, with sea breezes and mineral-rich soils providing incredible salinity to the wines. The resulting wines are crisp, refreshing and energetic, reflecting the magic of Italy in every sip. Long Product Description Riva De La Rosa Frascati DOC is produced in the Tenuta Pietra Porzia family vineyard and situated in the heart of the production area, offering a spectacular view of Rome and Castelli Romani. Frascati, renowned as "the wine of kings and popes" and “the golden wine of the Romans” has been a symbol of Rome's vinicultural legacy for over two thousand years. Situated on the rim of a dormant volcano, the historic town of Frascati lies just a stone's throw from Rome. Crafted primarily from the Malvasia grape, the varietal benefits from the rich volcanic soil, ample sunshine, and cool breezes from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea. Fermentation occurs at a carefully controlled temperature of 15-16°C for 10-12 days, using specially selected yeasts. The wine then undergoes further refinement on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The result is an exquisite wine with an intense golden hue, offering fruity notes, delicate florals, hints of almonds, and a remarkable mineral character.
