These magical winegrowing regions are surrounded by the sea and blanketed in the warmth of the sun. The powerful coastal influences are evident in each vineyard, with sea breezes and mineral-rich soils providing incredible salinity to the wines. The resulting wines are crisp, refreshing and energetic, reflecting the magic of Italy in every sip. Short Product Description Riva de la Rosa Gavi DOCG is crafted from the Cortese grape cultivated in the sun-drenched Terre del Gavi hills, nestled on the border between Monferrato and Liguria. Cool breezes from the Ligurian Sea and abundant sunlight greatly influence the vineyard's microclimate, creating an ideal environment to cultivate exceptional Gavi DOCG vineyards. This distinctive combination of microclimate and clay marl soils results in a well-balanced wine, boasting an expressive bouquet of floral and vibrant citrus notes. Long Product Description Riva de la Rosa Gavi DOCG is crafted from the Cortese grape cultivated in the hills of Terre del Gavi nestled amidst the Apennine Mountains in the southeastern part of the Alessandria province. This picturesque region straddles the border between Monferrato and Liguria and is known for its rich red clay marl soils. The vineyards, perched at altitudes ranging from 150 to 450 meters above sea level, benefit from the refreshing breezes off the nearby Ligurian coast and abundant sunlight. These natural elements greatly influence the microclimate, creating an ideal environment for cultivating exceptional Gavi DOCG vineyards. To make their Gavi, they soft crush the grapes followed by a controlled fermentation at 62-65˚ F in stainless steel tanks. This unique combination of microclimate and clay marl soil creates a balanced wine, offering expressive floral and vibrant citrus notes in its aroma.
