Aged in small oak barrels for 10 months, this deeply colored Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a fountain of blueberry, blackberry and other mature fruits that give the wine a rich, concentrated mouthfeel. Round on the mid-palate, the wine has soft, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and a spicy finish that lasts and lasts. Paso Robles winery solar panels provide 100% of the needed electricity, and wastewater is effectively reclaimed and recycled for additional uses. This vineyard, with its breathtaking steep terrain, is situated in the rolling hills of the Creston District AVA—a celebrated sub-appellation known for producing exceptional red Bordeaux varietals. The vineyard's low-vigor soils, rich with calcareous marine deposits and fossilized shells, along with the cooling afternoon breezes from the Templeton Gap, create the ideal conditions for cultivating premium Cabernet Sauvignon.
