Product Title - Base Distiller's Cut 15th Edition Schwarzwald Dry Gin From Germany Short Description This limited-release 15th edition of Monkey 47 Distiller’s Cut features capers, creating a nutty, pure, and elegant dry gin with a pronounced sweetness and intense aroma Long Description Each year, driven by our curiosity and obsessive pursuit of unparalleled quality, we scour the planet again to find the Species Rara, that one extra-special, wunderbar botanical or ingredient to create a truly out-of-this-world sensory experience. This year, we headed to France for the 2025 Distiller’s Cut. To the south of France, to be exact and to be even more precise, the Camargue region. Among other things, the alluvial plain of Provence is known for its exceptional salt. To collect the Camargue’s White gold, seawater is directed through a network of channels and pools so that the salt marshes dry. The warmed marsh winds up evaporating 90% of the salt from fresh water, leaving behind salt crystals also known as Fleur de Sel that settle at the bottom of the marshes. Salt farmers then harvest them using a handcrafted skimming tool called a lousse. The 48th ingredient of our once-again special Distiller’s Cut for 2025 once again comes from the Camargue region Camargue Fleur de Sel Carefully selected by hand. Finished by infusing & harvesting Fleur de Sel and distilling a cut of the Monkey 47 hand-crafted and hand-distilled gin.
