Giving it an entirely new complexity of flavors while bottled at cask strength. Long Description For this limited release, we took our exceptional Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Boxergrail, and aged it for 8 years in wood-fired, toasted, and charred new American Oak barrels. This process imparts an entirely new complexity of flavors, while bottling it at cask strength showcases how the cask and whiskey come together at their natural strength. The exquisite rye whiskey that has emerged from these barrels is as luxurious in taste as it is in appearance. The auburn color highlights Boxergrail's strong character, while fragrances of mint, cinnamon, anise, and brown sugar, along with a lingering licorice and floral aroma, raise expectations. On the palate, it delivers a creamy and rich balance with twists of cinnamon, ginger, tobacco, and blood orange.
