Q1: How do I get the best burn from my candle?

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt to the edges to help prevent tunneling. Burn in 2–4 hour sessions.

Q2: Should I trim the wick?

Yes. Trim the wick to about 5 mm (1/4") before each burn to reduce soot and keep an even flame.

Q3: My candle is tunneling. What should I do?

Let the candle burn long enough for the melt pool to reach the edge of the vessel. Short burn sessions are the most common cause.

Q4: Why is there soot or smoke?

Drafts and an untrimmed wick can cause smoking. Trim the wick, keep the candle away from airflow, and stop burning if the flame is too high.

Q5: What are the key safety tips?

Burn within sight, keep away from flammable materials, and place on a heat-resistant surface. Stop use when about 1 cm (1/2") of wax remains.
