Vintage Wine Name Barolo Cerretta DOCG 2018 Vintage 2018 Wine Description This single vineyard parcel was named after the Cerretta MGA, Serralunga d’Alba, and planted in 1961 with Nebbiolo Michet and Lampia covering 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres). The density is 5,000 vines per hectare (2,023 per acre), which yields an average yearly production of only 8,000 bottles. Harvested by hand in late October, the wine’s cellar life is 15 to 30 years, depending on vintage.
